Galloway motorcyclist killed in crash

A Galloway Township motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a mail truck Saturday afternoon.
Michael Giannetta Jr., 34, was heading west on West White Horse Pike in Galloway Township, when he approached the intersection at Upas Avenue, Patrolman Ronald Gorneau said.
Jocelyn Moore, 49, of Egg Harbor Township, was heading south in her U.S. Postal Service truck and stopped at the sign on Upas, when she entered the intersection to turn left, according to the report.
Giannetta's motorcycle struck the front driver's side of the mail truck, and he was thrown from his bike, Gorneau said
Giannetta was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus, where he died from his injuries.
Moore was taken to the Mainland Campus for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Gorneau is investigating the accident.
