  • Crime-Courts

A Philadelphia man has been indicted on charges he stabbed a man to death inside the victim’s hotel room at the Ocean Casino Resort.

Andrew Osborne, 34, allegedly fled the room in the victim’s clothing, and then left the Atlantic City casino with his wife less than an hour later.

Brian Wilkinson, 47, of Egg Harbor Township, was found naked on the floor of Room 2618 at about 1:30 p.m. Sept. 23. He had numerous stab wounds to his head and neck, according to the affidavit of probable cause obtained by BreakingAC.

His shoes and cell phone were missing, with only a white T-shirt and a pair of underwear in the room, the affidavit states.

An investigation found that Wilkinson checked in around 7:30 the night before the killing.

Osborne and his wife checked in at 2:16 the morning of the killing to a Room 902, which was prepaid on Expedia by Colleen Osborne. It was in a different tower than Wilkinson.

The last time the victim was seen alive on video was at about 10:02 the night before the killing, as he walked to his room alone, the affidavit states.

The door to Wilkinson’s room was opened from the inside at 6:57 the morning he was killed, with the lock engaged to keep the door open, the lock interrogation report showed, according to the affidavit.

Andrew Osborne is see in the guest elevator of the victim’s tower at 7:09 a.m., wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants and gray/dark shoes, the affidavit states. He got out on Wilkinson’s floor and the door to the room was closed at 7:11 a.m.

The door opened 19 minutes later, and Osborne is seen getting on the elevator in the same jacket, but this time wearing gray shoes and pants that are consistent with what the victim was seen wearing, the affidavit states. He also was carrying a black plastic bag.
