Six people were arrested on drug-related charges Thursday in Atlantic City, after complaints from residents and business owners on Atlantic Avenue.
Police seized 450 wax folds of heroin, more than an ounce of crack cocaine, 11 ounces of marijuana and more than $4,200 in cash believed to be from drug sales.
“The Atlantic City Police Department continues to prioritize Atlantic Avenue.” Interim Officer in Charge James Sarkos said. “Operations like this will continue and increase as we address these issues.”
Those arrested and their charges were:
Isaiah Lopez, 19, of Atlantic City, was charged with two counts each of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and intent to distribute.
Joseph Campos, 24, of Atlantic City, was charged with three counts each of possession and possession with intent to distribute.
Timothy Koons, 46, of Atlantic City, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Erik McClain, 32, of Atlantic City, was charged with loitering to obtain CDS.
Tony Jones, 54, of Atlantic City, was charged with three counts each of possession and possession with intent to distribute, along with a contempt of court charge.
All were released on summonses.
