Detectives are investigating a shooting that killed one man and wounded another Sunday night.
Police were called to the Pacific Food Mart at 1009 Pacific Ave. just before 9 p.m. for the report of two victims with gunshot wounds, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Both were given medical treatment and taken to the Trauma Unit at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.
Malae Johnson, 19, of Mays Landing, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
No information was released on the second victim.
The location is near the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
The Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and Atlantic City police are investigating.
