Stockton University is looking for local vendors for its Black Business Expo and Book Fair.
In it's second year, the expo is part of the university’s annual African-American Cultural Heritage Short Course.
The short course is hosted by Stockton’s Office of Continuing Studies & Adult Education, and will include a day of interactive workshops that celebrate the history, culture, art, music and leadership of African Americans in South Jersey and the greater Atlantic City area.
The expo asks that authors and small businesses bring books, music, jewelry, beauty products, clothes, hair and skin care, art and more to share in the celebration of African-American culture.
Vendors will also have an opportunity to sponsor selected local students’ attendance by purchasing ad space in the course’s large program book “Redefining Green,” a nod to Victor Green’s 1936 “Negro Motorist Green Book.”
This year’s expo and book fair will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27 at Stockton’s Atlantic City Campus.
