Investigators are asking for help in tracking down a vehicle tied to a fatal hit-and-run.
Atlantic City police were dispatched to Route 30 east at about 11:30 p.m. March 1, for a hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
An investigation confirmed the vehicle was a dark blue 2012 Nissan Altima with Iowa registration LNB789.
The vehicle may have heavy front-end damage, specifically to the passenger side, where the sideview mirror is missing.
The damage will likely help identify the vehicle, as the license plates may have been changed or moved, authorities warned.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of this vehicle or individual is asked to call Detective Jennifer Burke of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office at 609-909-7684 or the Atlantic City Police Department Traffic Division at 609-347-5744.
