A Fresh Perspective on the Gambling Industry: Military Context and Igor Zotko

The Ukrainian gambling sector is currently facing significant challenges regularly. Working on business development and government support, Igor Zotko from PIN-UP Ukraine stands out for his actions. He was able to combine a supportive drive with a solid social responsibility.

New Trends in the Ukrainian Gambling Industry: Igor Zotko's Thoughts During the War

Ukraine has made great strides in the industry since legalizing gambling in 2020. The Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAIL) issued the first gambling licenses in early 2021. However, despite the steps towards progress, the sector constantly has to overcome problems.

Pin-Up founder Igor Zotko shared his thoughts on the unique challenges of the industry and the latest innovations:

  1. The efforts of Ukr Game Technology and Zotko made PIN-UP Ukraine one of the first online casinos to receive a license. On July 14, 2020, the legislation moved the industry forward by emphasizing the need for legislative unification and tax burden reduction despite current challenges.
  2. Mr. Zotko emphasizes eliminating the gray market and the importance of an effective dialog between industry players and regulators.
  3. Zotko brought extensive experience in various gambling companies to PIN-UP Ukraine.
  4. In addition to his work in the gambling industry, Zotko launched a successful financial service called Yedynyy Prostir, which provides seamless payment solutions.
  5. Even in disinformation attacks, Zotko defends his business's integrity and social responsibility.

Protecting the Integrity of PIN-UP Ukraine: KRAIL and Igor Zotko

By confirming the legitimacy of the PIN-UP license, KRAIL dispelled rumors about Igor Zotko's ties to Russia. Along with strengthening the brand's reputation, Zotko successfully countered disinformation.

Recently, Opendatabot researched and confirmed that PIN-UP Ukraine complies with legal regulations and has a robust financial position.

"In these challenging times, supporting each other is key. The complexity of managing a business during the war, especially in the frontline areas, requires our joint assistance and solidarity," said Igor Zotko.

The initiative will allocate UAH 5,000,000 to 15 winners. Significant tax deductions of UAH 3.4 billion for 2023, as contributions to charity amounted to more than UAH 180 million for various purposes, are worth noting.

Igor Zotko and Ukr Game Technology: Social Contributions

  • The internal humanitarian center provides support to staff and mobilized employees.
  • The PIN-UP Foundation provides extensive assistance to the liberated territories, such as more than 200 tons of humanitarian support.
  • Investments in urban infrastructure and support for children's centers emphasize the company's commitment to supporting and developing society.

Thus, we can see Igor Zotko's actions demonstrate a model of socially responsible business that supports Ukrainian society under challenging times.
