An Egg Harbor City man was wounded in a shooting Wednesday night.
Police were called to the area of Havana Avenue and Arago Street at about 11:15 p.m. for the report of shots fired, Egg Harbor City police said.
They found a 28-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the report.
The man, whose name was not released, was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus for treatement.
Galloway and Hamilton townships police departments assisted, along with the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office, South Star, Galloway Township Ambulance Squad and AtlantiCare Paramedics.
No arrests have been announced. There was no suspect information released.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit is assisting with the investigation.
