Atlantic City residents encouraged to get financially literate

  • News

Atlantic City's Multicultural Services is looking to educate residents on financial literacy — and it seems many are onboard.

The first course set for Feb. 22 is already filled up, city spokesman Andrew Kramer tells BreakingAc.

"But we encourage interested individuals to register to be on the waiting list for future courses," he said.

A Financial Literacy course in Spanish is set for May.

Two more courses — one in English and one in Spanish — will be offered later in the year.

Those who complete the courses will receive a gift card from Midtown in Motion.

The courses will be held at the Carnegie Library at 35 S. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
