Atlantic City boy, 14, has died from injuries in shooting

  • News

One of two Atlantic City teens shot Friday night has died.

Police were called to Boston and Atlantic avenues at about 10:48 p.m. Friday for a disturbance involving numerous individuals and possible shots fired, according to a release issued by the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office early Sunday.

BreakingAC previously reported that two local teens were shot at what was described as a party at an AirBnb.

Another source claimed the victims never made it inside where the party was.

When police arrived, they found two teens wounded.

A 16-year-old identified only as A.C. was found on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus, where he was treated and released.

A 14-year-old identified as F.G. was found in the roadway with a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Prosecutor's Office. He was taken to the hospital, where he died at 3:27 p.m. Saturday.

The older teen was a student at Atlantic City High School, a source told BreakingAC.

It is not yet clear which school the slain teen attended. His full name has not been officially released.

The cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy.
