Galloway man fatally struck riding scooter on White Horse Pike

A Galloway Township man died after he was struck by two vehicles while riding a scooter on the White Horse Pike.

Stephen B. Johnson III, 19, was riding in the lane of travel near the intersection at West Jimmie Leeds Road at about 1:30 Friday morning, when he was struck by a Toyota RAV 4, driven westbound by Edith Ramirez-Masedas of Galloway.

Johnson was thrown into the roadway and then struck by an Acura TLX driven by Manuel Rodriguez of Egg Harbor Township.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by Sgt. First Class Kevin Welsh and Officer Kaitlyn Reyes of the Galloway Township Police Department Traffic Safety Unit.
