Fight inside Pleasantville Wawa leads to arrest in Atlantic City shooting

A fight among several women inside the Pleasantville Wawa a suspect in an Atlantic City shooting that wounded a child.

Police were called to the convenience store at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday, for a fight among several females, Capt. Angelo Maldonado said.

Rashida Molley, 32, of Pleasantville, was arrested for allegedly deploying mace inside the store, he said. That led to the store being evacuated and temporarily closed.

Another woman, 22-year-old Yanirah Davis, was arrested for a warrant in which she faces several charges in the shooting of an 11-year-old boy in Atlantic City.

The Galloway Township woman faces charges including 10 counts of aggravated assault in that case.

She was turned over to Atlantic City police.

An ongoing investigation into the Wawa incident is being conducted to determine whether the other individuals involved will face further charges.
