  • Crime-Courts

Atlantic City police recovered three stolen vehicles and made four arrests within hours Thursday.

Jy'heem Benjamin-Hannah and a 16-year-old boy from the city were found inside a vehicle reported stolen from the first block of North Sovereign Avenue, Capt. Kevin Fair said.

Officers Thomas Gilardi and Tyler Daily found the vehicle at about 11:20 a.m., and arrested the two inside, according to the report. Benjamin-Hannah, 20, of Atlantic City, also allegedly had a small amount of heroin and attempted to provide false information to the officers.

Officer Keith Jordan stopped another vehicle that had been reported stolen days earlier.

Nadiyah Wyatt, 30, of Atlantic City, was arrested at about 5:15 p.m.

She had several warrants for her arrest, Fair said. Court records show they were for motor vehicle infractions.

Officers Kyle Bender and William Harned found a third stolen vehicle at about 6:30 p.m. in a parking garage.

The vehicle had been stolen earlier in the day.

The driver, 40-year-old Floyd Mitchell of Essex, Md., was arrested.

All four were issued summonses for receiving stolen property and released.
