Atlantic City police are investigating a crash that killed an electric bicyclist Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened just before 1 p.m. in the 100 block of North Maryland AVenue, where police found a 57-year-old city resident suffering from serious injuries, Capt. Kevin Fair said.
Despite lifesaving efforts from Fire Department and medical personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The 40-year-old driver from Mount Laurel, Burlington County, remained on the scene and cooperated with investigator, Fair said. She has not been charged at this time.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office is assisting in the investigation.
