A Pleasantville man was sentenced to four years in prison for luring a 13-year-old girl he met online for sex.
Javier Erazo, 21, admitted to coming to an Atlantic City park to meet up with the girl he met on Snapchat.
Atlantic City police were called to the area of Kingston and Sunset avenues at about 2:30 p.m. June 22, and found Erazo and the girl, police previously reported.
An investigation by the Special Victim Unit found that Erazo knew the girl's age and wanted to engage in a sexual relationship with her.
While the report did not detail what happened between the two, the charges include sexual assault, along with attempt to lure or entice a juvenile and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Erazo also was the target of an investigation when he was 16 for allegedly inappropriately touching an 11-year-old girl in March 2019, police said at the time.
He pleaded guilty to the adult charge Aug. 22.
Upon his release, Erazo mus register as a Megan's Law offender and will be under lifetime parole supervision.
