First-responders were honored by the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority on Wednesday night with plaques, and dinner.

The fourth annual “First Serve to Our First Responders” dinner was held at Bally's Atlantic City's new steakhouse, Park Place Prime.

Firefighters, police officers, dispatchers, EMTs, lifeguards and Public Works were all represented after nominations were made.

Each year, the event also acts as a first taste of Restaurant Week, which runs from Oct. 5 to 11 this year.
