A five-day carnival in Hamilton Township led to six arrests and several injuries Friday night.
Police called to the parking lot of the Hamilton Mall at about 8:15 p.m. encountered numerous fights and disorderly individuals, police said.
Crowd-control measures were implemented, with mutual aid assistance requested from neighboring law enforcement agencies.
Among those arrested were two 17-year-olds from Mays Landing, a 15-year-old from Egg Harbor Township and a 15-year-old from Atlantic City.
Prince Medas and Francis Aboagye, both 18 of Galloway Township, also were charged.
Each faces disorderly conduct charges.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges could be coming, according to police.
The Police Department "wants to assure everyone that public safety will always remain our top priority," police said in a Facebook post. "There will be zero tolerance for anyone acting disorderly and those who cannot follow the rules will be arrested. Juveniles who are out past curfew will be charged and released to a parent/guardian."
The carnival was organized by Skelly's Amusements out of Williamstown. who advertised the event as "outdoor family fun and entertainment" with "five days of your favorite rides, games and carnival treats."
