A crash and electrical issues caused delays heading east on Route 30 on Thursday morning.
The road was reopened by 10:30 a.m.
Atlantic City police first reported a problem saying electrical issues with traffic lights could cause sudden stops.
They said the drawbridge was open but to use caution for sudden stops of other drivers.
Motorists reported delays to BreakingAC.
Then, Absecon police reported that the road heading east was closed due to a motor vehicle accident and loss of power to the bridge.
Traffic heading east from Shore Road into Atlantic City along Route 30 was being detoured.
Motorists were told to use the Atlantic City Expressway, Route 40 or come via Ventnor to get into the city.
