Whether it was gathering family together, hosting those away from home or just getting ready for the sales, those in the area celebrated Thanksgiving in different ways.
New Shiloh Baptist Church started the day with a Thanksgiving breakfast to show those in need they are loved, said Nycole Lyles-Belton, who went live and had those helping out say what they are thankful for.

Brittney Donohoe, who sometimes uses her oven for extra storage, had a piece of advice for others.
