An Atlantic County 1-year-old has tested positive for the coronavirus, public health officials said.The girl, who is not ill at this time, was one of 30 newly confirmed cases in the county.No information was available about what town she lives in or why she was tested.Asymptomatic children have been tested when family members are confirmed to be infected.The oldest of the 16 females to newly test positive is 85. There are also 14 men, ages 26 to 83.Both recoveries and deaths remain the same, with 108 patients cleared and 29 whose deaths are attributed to COVID-19.Egg Harbor Township once again has the most new cases with seven, bringing its total to 110.Hamilton Township and Hammonton have six new cases. Somers Point three, Pleasantville has two, and Absecon, Atlantic City, Buena Borough, Estell Manor, Linwood and Weymouth Township each have one new case.

Atlantic County will continue testing next week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday at the Hamilton Township site.Atlantic City will start testing qualifying residents next week at two sites.
For all sights, residents must be symptomatic for respiratory illness, provide a doctor’s script, proof of residency and confirmation of appointment.
