Atlantic City police are looking for help finding a vehicle that struck a pedestrian and fled.
A 68-year-old Galloway Township woman was seriously injured when he was struck by two vehicles just after 1 a.m. Sunday, Lt. Kevin Fair said.
Police were called to Arkansas and Pacific avenues at 1:16 a.m., and told that the driver immediately fled north on Missouri Avenue, going the wrong way on the one-way street, according to the report.
The vehicle is believed to be a 2013 or 2014 Subaru Legacy that is dark in color, possibly black or blue, Fair said. It would have damage to the front driver’s side headlight area, and possibly windshield.
The second vehicle struck the pedestrian while she was lying in the roadway.
That driver also left the scene, but was located in Millville, Fair said.
The driver was interviewed, and charges are pending the outcome of the investigation.
Officer Fitzroy Simpson is leading the investigation.
