A driver was killed and three others injured in a crash involving four vehicles Thursday on the Garden State Parkway.
A GMC Yukon and MCI bus were heading south when there was a sideswipe collision in the area of mile post 30.1 in Somers Point just after 9 p.m., Sgt. Alejandro Goez said.
The Yukon and a Hyundai Genesis, also traveling south, then struck the rear of a Jeep Wrangler that was traveling on the right shoulder, according to report.
The Yukon continued off the road to the right, struck the guardrail and overturned, Goez said.
The driver of the Yukon, 53-year-old Amy Henderson of Cape May Court House, died from her injuries. Her 53-year-old passenger also from Cape May Court House, was seriously injured.
The Jeep driver, 20-year-old man from Chester, Penn., sustained moderate injuries, Goez said. Neither of the other drivers was injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
