  • News

A Camden man admitted his role in a crime spree that included armed robberies in Bridgeton and Vineland.

Kamau Bradshaw, 20, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to one count of conspiring to commit armed robberies, one count of committing an armed robbery and one count of conspiring to commit armed carjackings.

Bradshaw and Paul Rogers were arrested Sept. 17, 2021, in the crimes.

Two masked suspects carrying an AR-style rifle robbed a Pennsauken gas station Sept. 14, 2021, according to documents in he case.

They got cash and cigarettes, and were later seen running into a Camden residence with a large duffle bag, according to the documents.

A search warrant led to the rifle and clothing matching that worn by the suspects in the robbery.

Bradshaw admitted his role in eight gas station robberies or attempted robberies in addition to the Sept. 14, 2021, robbery in Pennsauken. Those robberies included stations in Bridgeton and Vineland, both committed Aug. 31, 2021.

At each gas station, at least one member of the conspiracy brandished what appeared to be an assault weapon in order to threaten the gas station attendant.

Bradshaw and his conspirators used a vehicle taken in a Philadelphia armed carjacking in several of the crimes, according to the charges.

Rogers’ case is still pending.
